Trauma-Informed Yoga & Therapy: Enhancing Interoception in Survivors of Interpersonal Trauma


This training is designed for mental health providers, and yoga teachers. It is ideal for professionals who would like to learn how trauma-informed yoga and its principles can support clients in treatment to resolve complex trauma-related concerns. 

Please note that this training is not a yoga teacher training, but an introduction to yoga as a resource.

  • Learn the neuroscience and neurobiology of trauma and its impact on the brain and mind-body connection

  • Identify how repeated interpersonal trauma is related to decreased self-connection, emotional regulation, and affect tolerance

  • Learn to support clients with somatic interventions

  • Identify attachment-based concerns and how trauma-informed yoga can support attunement to self and others

  • Recognize cultural and ethical considerations
